Take care of the land first - Always
When considering a house relocation, the biggest sinkhole of money is often when the land is not yet ready to accept the relocated house.
We recommend you ensure you have completed the steps below before you even go looking for a house.

- Make sure you have completed the purchase and finance for the land.
- Obtain an Engineer’s report on Soil bearing and Geo-tech issues.
- Check for Land Contamination Issues.
- Check and confirm requirements for water supply and waste disposal.
- Check there are no neighbourly objections to the relocation lodged with council.
- Confirm planning requirements, yard buffers, easements and recession plans etc.
- Check that the house moving truck can get into site and out again.
